Is there a single perspective that would give clear and deep understanding of the cultures and history of the world, as well as the dynamics and stresses of daily life?
The Bible teaches that God created all things for His own glory, and man in His own image; as the image-bearer of God, mans destiny was to share the glory of God, and his calling was to pursue Gods glory in every area of life. Through mans rebellion, he turned away from that calling, and lost title to that future blessing. What man lost through disobedience, Christ lived, died and lives again to restore; through faith in Christ, therefore, we have the hope of glory restored, which represents the deepest fulfillment of the purpose for which we exist.
